We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, phone number, and billing information when you create an account, build an event, purchase tickets, or contact us.

We also collect information automatically when you use our services, including your IP address, browser type, device information, approximate location, and usage data such as the pages you visit, features you use, and the actions you take within the platform.

If you use Google Sign-In, Google shares with us the email address and basic profile information (such as your name and profile picture) associated with your Google account, subject to the permissions you grant.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide, operate, and maintain the Map My Expo platform; to create and manage your account; to process ticket purchases and vendor payments; to deliver event-related communications; to provide customer support; to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; to analyze and improve our services; and to comply with our legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as payment processors like Stripe, cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers), each bound by obligations to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.

We may share information when required by law, court order, or government regulation; to protect our rights, property, or safety; in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of our assets; and with your consent.

Event organizers may access information about attendees who register for their events, including names, email addresses, and ticket details, for the purpose of managing their events.

4. Payment Processing

Payment information is collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Map My Expo does not store full credit card numbers. Stripe's handling of card data is governed by its own privacy policy and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. We may retain certain information after account deletion where required by law or to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or protect our rights.
